O R D E R:

           The Executive Director, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited in his
letter read above has stated that as a part of the Strengthening of  Transmission System beyond Vemagiri’, one 765/400KV Sub-Station with 2x1500 MVA transformation capacity has to be established near Chilakaluripeta in Guntur District. This requires about 90 Acres of land with the dimensions of 625 mtrs x 610 mtrs for the present and future scope. This High power transmission system is very critical for the State of Andhra Pradesh to draw power from the eastern part of the country, to enable transfer power to Andhra Pradesh, which needs to be completed by February’2016. The District Revenue officials, have prima-facie identified the following lands, which are classified as patta lands.

1. Annavaram Village, Rompicherla Mandal, Guntur District Survey No. 545, 543, 546.
2. Munimaka Village, Rompacherla Mandal, Guntur District Survey No. 712-720.
3. Tungapadu Village, Rompacherla Mandal, Guntur District Survey No. 90-105.
4. Vipparala palli village, Rompacherla Mandal, Guntur District Survey No. 443, 442, 422, 423.

2. The Executive Director, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has
therefore, requested the Government to constitute a Joint Committee consisting
of District Collector/Revenue authorities/Power grid for facilitating/negotiating so that land can be purchased directly through consent route.

3. Government after careful examination, here by constitute a Negotiation
Committee for the above purpose with the following:

i) Joint Collector, Guntur District - Chairman
ii) Executive Director, PGCIL - Member – Convenor
iii) RDO, of the concerned Division - Member
