In pursuance of the instructions issued in the reference cited, all the Deputy Educational Officers in the District are requested to conduct Divisional Level Science Exhibitions during the year 2011-2012 on 18-11-2011 for children studying from classes VI to X of all management schools i.e., Govt., / Aided / Un-aided Pvt., Schools / Tribal / S.W. Schools / APERIs / Local bodies as a part of the first phase of preparation for the Jawaharlal Nehru National Exhibition for Science and Environment Education for Children (JNNESEC), the main theme of Science Exhibition is “Science, Society and Environment” and the following sub themes.

i) Agriculture and food security.

ii) Energy – Resource and conservation.

iii) Health.

iv) Environmental issues and concerns.

v) Mathematics and Everyday life and

vi) Disaster management.

Further, They are requested to 1^st & 2^nd prize entries along with write ups (preferably English) of the Divisional Level Science Exhibition should reach to this office on 20-11-2011.
