PANCHAYAT RAJ ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT – Creation of two (2) Non 
Technical Personal Assistants (NTPA) posts in the Office of Engineer-in-Chief,
Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad at the rate of one (1) to each Chief Engineer,
Panchayat Raj, by suppressing two (2) Posts i.e., one Deputy Statistical Officerand one Special Grade Steno - Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
The Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj has informed in his letter fourth
read above that after bifurcation of the Department, additional posts in all
cadres were sanctioned except Non Technical Personal Assistants (NTPA). The
existing three (3) NTPA posts were overburdened with the responsibilities of
assisting four (4) Chief Engineers and Engineer-in-Chief with day-to-day
administration. As per the Board of Chief Engineers resolution dt.18.11.1992,
each Chief Engineer should have the assistance of one NTPA. He has, therefore, requested to accord sanction for creation of two (2) NTPA posts in addition to the three (3) existing NTPA posts in the office of the Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj for smooth functioning of the Department.


2. Therefore, the P.R. & R.D. Department has requested for creation of two
(2) NTPA posts in the Office of Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj, at the rate of one (1) to each Chief Engineer, Panchayat Raj, by suppressing two (2) Posts i.e., one Deputy Statistical Officer and one Special Grade Steno for smooth functioning of Department to assist all (4) Chief Engineers and Engineer-in-Chief in day-to-day administration.


3. The Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord
sanction for creation of two (2) Non Technical Personal Assistant (NTPA) posts
in the Office of Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj, at the rate of one (1) to each Chief Engineer, Panchayat Raj, by suppressing two (2) Posts i.e., one Deputy Statistical Officer and one Special Grade Steno.


4. The P.R. & R.D. Department shall take further necessary action in the
matter accordingly.
