The
following notification will be published in an Extra-ordinary Issue of the
Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated:25-10-2012.
NOTIFICATION
In
exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the
Constitution of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, hereby makes the
following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Rural Water Supply Engineering Service
Rules, 2008 issued in G.O.Ms.No.219, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development
(Estt.III) Department, dated: 11.06.2008 and published in Part- VII
Extra-ordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.3, dated 11th
June, 2008 as subsequently amended from time to time.
AMENDMENT
In the said rules in the Annexure, under Class – B, for the existing qualification in Column -(3)
against Category-4 “Junior Geologist”, the following shall be substituted, namely :-
“Must possess Degree in M.Sc., or M.Sc. (Tech.) or M.Tech. in Geology or
Geophysics or Applied Geology or Applied Geophysics or a Degree in M.Sc.
(Tech.) in Hydrogeology of any University in India established or incorporated
by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an institution
recognized by the University Grants Commission”.
