O R D E R:
In the GOs 1st to 5th read above, fee structure for Convener quota (50%
for PG and 60% for UG) and Management quota(50% for PG and 40% for UG)
seats in private Medical and Dental Colleges was fixed in 2010-11 for the block period of 3 years 2010-11,2011-12 and 2012-13.
2. In the letter 6th read above, the AP Private Medical and Dental Colleges
Managements Association (APPMDCMA) has represented to Govt. to continue the existing fee for the UG and PG courses in Medical and Dental streams for this academic year 2013-14 and to take up the entire exercise of fixing the fee
structure for the next block period commencing from 2014-15.
3. In the letter 7th read above, the Member Secretary, AFRC was requested
to place the request of the APPMDCMA before the AFRC and to communicate
the decision of the AFRC to enable the Government to issue necessary orders in the matter to expedite the admission process.
4. In the letter 8th read above, the Member Secretary AFRC has informed
that the Admission & Fee Regulatory Committee relating to Fee Fixation, in its
meeting held on 28.06.2013 considered the request of the A.P. Private Medical & Dental Colleges Managements Association, Hyderabad – 500 020 and
“… resolved to postpone the fixation of tuition fee for Private Un-Aided UG&PG
Medical & Dental Courses till the next academic year i.e., 2014-15. The existing
tuition fee structure for the Private Un-Aided UG&PG Medical & Dental Courses
be retained for this academic year i.e., 2013-14.”
5. The Government after careful examination of the matter has decided to
accept the resolution of Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee and
accordingly postpone the fixation of tuition fee for Private Un-Aided UG&PG
Medical & Dental Courses till the next academic year i.e., 2014-15 and retain the existing tuition fee structure for the Private Un-Aided UG&PG Medical & Dental Courses for this academic year i.e., 2013-14.
