O R D E R:

            In the reference 3rd read above, the Member Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Hyderabad, has sent proposals for reconstitution of the New Board.

            The term of three (3) years period of Smt. Janaki R. Kondapi, as Chairperson of the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board will be completed by 31.8.2014. 

After careful examination of the matter, the Government have decided to constitute the New Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board, after the bifurcation of the A.P. State and order to appoint the Officials as indicated in the notification as the Members of the New Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board.

            The following notification shall be published in the next issue of Andhra Pradesh Gazette:


NOTIFICATION

            In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) read with Sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, (Central Act 6 of 1974), adopted on 30.7.1995, by the State of Andhra Pradesh, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby constitute the Andhra Pradesh State Pollution Control Board, for the residual state of Andhra Pradesh with the following officials as Members of the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board.

O R D E R:
In the references 1st read above, orders have been issued
reconstituting the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board with Chief
Secretary to Government as Chairman and other Officials and Nonofficials
as Members of the Board of Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control
Board.
2. Government have reconsidered the matter and decided to take the
services of Smt. Janaki R.Kondapi, IAS retiring on superannuation on the
AN of 31.8.2011 as Chairman, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board,
considering her experience and administrative capabilities by holding
various positions at Govt., level and well versed with the various Acts and
Rules relating to environmental and other related matters and to appoint
her as full time Chairman, A.P. Pollution Control Board.
3. The following notification shall be published in the next issue of
Andhra Pradesh Gazette:

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) read with
Sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of
Pollution) Act, 1974, (Central Act 6 of 1974), adopted on 30-7-1995, by
the State of Andhra Pradesh, as required by sub-section (2) of section 1
of the said Act, and in supersession of the orders issued in
G.O.Ms.No.44, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology Department,
dated:12-4-2006 read with G.O.Ms.No.241, General Administration
(Special A) Department, dated:29-5-2006, and G.O.Ms.No.27,
Environment, Forests, Science & Technology Department, dated:02-03-
2007, the Government of Andhra Pradesh in partial modification of the
orders issued in the G.O. 1st read above, hereby appoint Smt. Janaki
R.Kondapi, IAS retiring on superannuation on the AN of 31.8.2011, as full
time Chairman of the A.P. Pollution Control Board with effect from
1.9.2011.
4. The term of the Chairman will be for a period of (2) years.
