R D E R:
As per the Section 23 of the Andhra Pradesh
Reorganization Act, 2014, six seats each have been allocated to Andhra Pradesh
and Telangana States
under Members to be nominated by the Governor and in the fourth schedule to the
said Act, 5 existing members were allotted to Andhra Pradesh and 3 existing
members were allotted to Telangana
State
In the reference 2nd cited two
vacant posts were filled up with namely, Sri Naini Narsimha Reddy and Sri
Sabavat Ramulu Naik, S/o. late Laxman Naik, leaving one vacancy not filled.
In view of the above and also as clarified by the
Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, the Governor of Telangana has filled
the said vacancy by nominating Sri Karne Prabhakar under the Governor’s quota
for Telangana Legislative Council.
Accordingly, the following
notification shall be published in the extraordinary issue of the Telangana
State Gazette, dated:18.08.2014.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-clause (e) of clause (3) of Article 171 of the Constitution of India, read
with Clause (5) of that Article. I, E.S.L. Narasimhan, Governor of Telangana
hereby nominate Sri Karne Prabhakar to be the Member of the Telangana
Legislative Council:

ORDER:
The following Notification shall be published
in the Extraordinary Issue of the Telangana State Gazette, on 18th
August, 2014.
NOTIFICATION
Whereas, as per the Section 23 of the Andhra
Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014, six seats each have been allocated to Andhra
Pradesh and Telangana States under Members to be nominated by the Governor
and in the fourth schedule to the said Act, 5 existing members were allotted to
Andhra Pradesh and 3 existing members were allotted to Telangana State
And whereas, two vacant posts were filled up
with namely, Sri Naini Narsimha Reddy and Sri Sabavat Ramulu Naik, S/o.late
Laxman Naik, leaving one vacancy not filled.
And
whereas, the Governor of Telangana has nominated Sri Karne Prabhakar to the
Legislative Council in the above vacancy under sub-clause (e) of clause (3) of
Article 171 of the Constitution of India, read with Clause (5) of that article;
Now,
therefore, in pursuance of Section 74 of the Representation of the People Act,
1951 (Act 43 of 1951), the Governor of Telangana hereby notifies Sri Karne
Prabhakar as the member so nominated:
