ORDER:-
In the reference read above, the Chief Engineer Minor, Irrigation has requested the Government to accord administrative approval for an amount of Rs. 10,09,75,000/- towards procuring of 689 laptops costing Rs. 296.50
Lakhs (@ Rs. 43,000 per laptops) to be given to Assistant Executive Engineer onwards, and New Survey Instruments costing Rs. 713.25 Lakhs to tackle the massive Tank Renovation Programme by de-silting/ chain of tank in Minor Irrigation Sector.

2. Government after careful examination of the above said proposal, hereby accord administrative approval for an amount of Rs. 10,09,75,000/- (Rs. Rupees Ten Crore nine lakh and seventy five thousand only) towards procuring of 689 laptops costing Rs. 296.50 Lakhs, as per the instructions
issued in the G.O.Ms.No.178, Finance (TFR) Department, dated:19.08.2011 and New Survey Instruments costing Rs. 713.25 Lakhs, subject to condition that the expenditure should be met within the budget. He is permitted for
floating the Short Tenders for seven(7) days time.
 
3. The Government hereby constitute a committee for finalisation of specifications of equipment/tenders and tender conditions in respect of survey equipment through e-procurement.
 
a) Engineer-in-Chief(AW) -----Chairman
b) Engineer-in-Chief(Irrigation)-----Member
c) Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation--Member
 
4. The amount sanctioned in para (2) above shall be debited to the Head of Account “4702-00-101-11-12-520-522”.
 
5. The Chief Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Hyderabad shall take further necessary action in the matter, accordingly.
 
6. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance (EBS.IX) Department vide their U.O. No.5413/99/A2/EBS.IX/2014, dated:28.10.2014.
