ORDER:
In the G.O.1st & 2nd read above, orders have been issued accordingly approval for starting the following seven (7) Post Basic Diploma courses in nursing and rules have also been framed for admission into these Diploma courses.
1. Post Basic Diploma in Neonatal Nursing.
2. Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing
2. In letter 3rd read above, the Chairman, High Power Committee, Hyderabad has reported that proposals were received for establishment of Post Basic Diploma Courses under the name
(1) Narayana Neonatal Nursing Course,
(2) Narayana Oncology Nursing Course,
(3) Narayana Psychiatric / Mental Health Nursing Course, (4) Narayana Ortho & Rehabilitation Nursing Course,
(5) Narayana Critical Care Nursing Course,
(6) Narayana Emergency & Disaster Nursing Course and
(7) Narayana Cardiothoracic Nursing Course
at Chintareddypalem, Nellore District and the same were forwarded to the District Level Team concerned for verification.
3. He has further stated that the Principal, Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupathi (Member Convener, District Level Team, Nellore) has submitted inspection report of
(1) Narayana Neonatal Nursing Course,
(2) Narayana Oncology Nursing Course,
(3) Narayana Psychiatric / Mental Health Nursing Course, (4) Narayana Ortho & Rehabilitation Nursing Course,
(5) Narayana Critical Care Nursing Course,
(6) Narayana Emergency & Disaster Nursing Course and
(7) Narayana Cardiothoracic Nursing Course
at Chintareddypalem, Nellore District. Which are as follows :
4. The Chairman, High Power Committee has therefore, requested the Government to issue No Objection Certificate / Essentiality Certificate to start Post Basic Diploma courses under the name of
(1) Narayana Neonatal Nursing Course,
(2) Narayana Oncology Nursing Course,
(3) Narayana Psychiatric /Mental Health Nursing Course,
(4) Narayana Ortho & Rehabilitation Nursing Course,
(5) Narayana Critical Care Nursing Course,
(6) Narayana Emergency & Disaster Nursing Course and
(7) Narayana Cardiothoracic Nursing Course
at Chintareddypalem, Nellore District.
5. Having examined the above inspection reports, the Chairman, High Power Committee has been requested vide letter 4th read above to re-submit the report after getting the same thoroughly scrutinized with regard to availability of
infrastructure and faculty, as per the formats designed by Principal, SV Medical College and sent to High Power Committee vide Government vide letter dated.26.02.2014 , for taking further action .
6. In the letter 5th read above, the Chairman, High Power Committee has reported that the reports submitted by the District Level Team were thoroughly scrutinized with regard to availability of infrastructure and faculty and submitted
a detailed report regarding each of the 7 courses showing that the applicant has complied with all the formalities required to establish the course in question.
7. The Chairman, High Power Committee has requested the Government to take further action as is warranted in the matter.
8. The Government after careful examination of the proposal hereby accord permission to the Secretary , Narayana Educational Society , D.No.14/72, Haranatha Puram, Nellore for starting of seven (7) Post Basic Diploma courses of one year duration in Narayana College of Nursing, Chinta reddy palem, Nellore with an intake capacity as mentioned against each course from the academic year 2014-2015.
9. The Director of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly.
