Under Section 28 (A)
of the Representation of People Act, 1951, the Government of Andhra Pradesh
hereby designate the following Police Officers in the State of Andhra Pradesh
for the purpose of Law & Order and other duties connected with conduct of
the 167-Tirupati Assembly Constituency of Chitoor District scheduled to be held
on 13.02.2015 (Friday).
i)
Director-General
of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
ii)
Addl.
Director General of Police (L&O), Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
iii)
Inspector-General
of Police, South Zone, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
iv)
The
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Anantapuramu Range, Anantapuramu.
v)
All
the Superintendents of Police in Chittoor district (both cadre and non-cadre).
vi)
All
the Sub-Divisional Police Officers connected to Tirupati Constituency.
vii)
All
the Inspectors of Police of Tirupati Constituency.
viii) All the
Sub-Inspectors of Police of Tirupati Constituency.
ix)
All
the Head Constables of Tirupati Constituency.
x)
All
the Police Constables of Tirupati Constituency.
xi)
Any
other Police Officers serving for the time being in the Police Department, who
are involved in any way in election related arrangements or performing duties
in connection with conduct of Bye-Election to 167-Tirupati Assembly
Constituency of Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh scheduled to be held on
13.02.2015 (Friday).
2. The above officers are deemed to be on deputation to the Election
Commission of India from 19.01.2015 (Monday) (Date of Notification) to 18.02.2015
(Wednesday) (Date before which election shall be completed) or the date of
declaration of result of the said election, whichever is earlier and
accordingly they shall, during that period, be subject to the control,
superintendence and discipline of the Election Commission of India.
