ORDER:-
In the reference 1st read above, orders were issued for reconstituting the Road Safety Council at State Level for a period of 2 (two) years with effect from 21.07.2010. The term of the said Council expired by 20.07.2012. The Government, has therefore, decided to constitute the State Level Road Safety Council for the State of Telangana.

2.  Accordingly, the following notification will be published in an Extra-ordinary issue of Telangana Gazette, Dated 28.01.2015.

                            NOTIFICATION
 
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 215 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988), the Governor of Telangana hereby constitutes the Road Safety Council for the State of Telangana with the following members, namely:-

4.  The Non- Official members of the Council shall be eligible for Travelling Allowance and Dearness Allowance as per rules. The Transport Commissioner, Telangana State, Hyderabad shall be the countersigning authority.

5.  The term of the Council shall be two years from the date of issue of notification or till the Road Safety Council is re-constituted, whichever is later.

6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance(EBS-X) Department vide their U.O.No.8211/221/A1/EBS-X/14, Dated 08.01.2015.
