ORDER:-
The Computerization was introduced in Registration and Stamps
Department in the year 1999. The Registration process in all the Sub
Registrar Offices is being done through computers and all the offices are net
worked . Initially, the computerization is in client –server architecture
and the Registrations are being done in the jurisdiction of Sub Registrar
Offices which  forced  the  registering  public  to  visit  that  particular
office. Now, it is migrated to CARD central architecture. The department has
amalgamated the offices of the Sub Registrars within the districts and
introduced  “Anywhere  Registration within  the  registration district”  by
designating  all  the  Sub  Registrars  in  the  district  as  Joint  Sub-
Registrars. Now, in order to provide more convenience to the public, it is
proposed to introduce “Anywhere Registration with in the State” to facilitate
the registering public to get their documents registered in any the Sub
Registrar Offices at their choice in the State.

2 Accordingly, the Commissioner and Inspector General (Registration &
stamps) Andhra Pradesh in his letter 3rd read above, has submitted
necessary proposals to introduce “ Anywhere Registration throughout the
State” across the districts without reference to jurisdiction of the Sub
Registrar Offices and to appoint the Additional Inspector General of
Registration and Stamps as Registrar.
3 Government after careful examination hereby accept the above
proposals. Accordingly, the following Notification shall be published in an
Extra Ordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated 04-01-2015.

                                    NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred Section 6 of the Registration Act,
1908 (Act XVI of 1908) and in supersession of all earlier orders/notifications
