O R D E R:
The term of Sri B.Venkata Rao, nominated by the Governor to the Telangana
Legislative Council has expired on 29.03.2015.
2. The above seat has to be filled up by nomination by the Governor. As per
sections 156 and 157 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (Central Act 43 of
1951), the term of the member to be nominated by the Governor will be six years from
the date of issue of notification under section 74 of the said Act.
3. In view of the above the following notification will be published in an
Extraordinary issue of the Telangana Gazette, dated:17.06.2015.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (e) of clause (3) read with
clause (5) of Article 171 of the Constitution of India. I, E.S.L. Narasimhan, Governor of
Telangana, hereby nominate Dr. Madireddy Sreenivas Reddy to be Member of the
Telangana Legislative Council.

The following Notification will be published in an Extraordinary issue of the
Telangana Gazette, on 17th June, 2015.
NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the term of the one (1) member Sri B.Venkata Rao, nominated by the
Governor to the Telangana Legislative Council has expired on 29.03.2015;
And whereas, the Governor of Telangana has nominated one person to the
Telangana Legislative Council under sub-clause (e) of clause (3) read with clause (5) of
Article 171 of the Constitution of India, vide G.O. read above;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 74 of the Representation of the People
Act, 1951 (Central Act 43 of 1951), the Government of Telangana hereby notifies the
name of Dr. Madireddy Sreenivas Reddy as the member so nominated.
