Global Crude oil price of Indian Basket was US$ 54.59 per bbl on 14.04.2017

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 54.59 per barrel (bbl) on 14.04.2017. This was lower than the price of US$ 54.92 per bbl on previous publishing day of 12.04.2017.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs.3511.07 per bbl on 14.04.2017 as compared to Rs. 3552.86 per bbl on 12.04.2017. Rupee closed stronger at Rs. 64.32 per US$ on 14.04.2017 as compared to Rs. 64.69 per US$ on 12.04.2017. The table below gives details in this regard:

Note - RBI reference rate for 14.4.2017 is not available. Therefore reference rate of 13.4.2017 has been considered Product-wise Under-recovery of Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs): '- Brent /Oman & Dubai prices are not available due to holiday on 14.4.2017, hence the price of Indian basket Crude oil cannot be derived. Therefore, price of Indian basket as of 13.4.2017 has been considered.
