O R D E R:

    Orders were issued in the G.O. 1st read above, issuing terms and
conditions of selection of Awards for Telangana Haritha Mithra Award,
prescribing certain time lines for finalisation of awardees.

2. The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana State,
Hyderabad in his letter 2nd read above has reported that, there is hardly any
time left to call for the applications, scrutinize and finalize the list. He has
also stated that the awards will be given for the year 2017-18, for the
plantations taken up during 2017 planting season and it is too early to assess
the performance and survival of those plantations, at this early stage. There
is a need to wait at least for one summer season to judge the performance of
the individuals or the organizations who have raised these plantations. He
has therefore furnished the revised time lines, for selection and finalisation of
awardees.

3. After careful consideration of the proposal of the Principal Chief
Conservator of Forests, (HoFF), Telangana State, Hyderabad, Government
hereby issue the following amendment to the G.O. 1st read above:-

4. In para. 9 of the G.O.Ms.No. 37 ,EFS&T(For.I) Dept, dt.02.11.2017
clauses (i) to (iv) are substituted with the following:-

(i) Invitation of applications : before 15th May, every year.

(ii) Submission of final list of awardees both for District and State level : before 15th June, every year.

(iii) Submission of final list of awardees in all categories : before 15th July, every Year.

(iv) Final notification by the Government indicating the : before 31st July, every year.

(v) Presentation of awards to : on 15th August, every year the awardees on independence day.

5. The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana State,
Hyderabad shall take necessary action, accordingly.
