The following
Notification will be published in an Extraordinary Issue of the
Andhra Pradesh
Gazette, dated 29.02.2012.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of
the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section-3 of the
Andhra Pradesh
Essential Service Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act
No.20 of 1971),
Government hereby prohibit strikes by the employees of Greater
Hyderabad
Municipal Corporation, Hyderabad, who are working in the maintenance
of drainage,
conservancy including scavenging, slaughter-houses, markets and all
medical
facilities, sweeping of streets, solid waste transportation, street lighting,
in
public interest
for a period of 6 months with immediate effect.
