O R D E R:

Consequent to the orders issued vide G.O.2nd read above and after careful

consideration of the proposals received vide references 3rd and 4th read above,

Government hereby accord sanction for creation of the following ex-cadre posts

upto 29.02.2012 or till the need for the post ceases, whichever is earlier.

03.	Director (Enforcement), Prohibition & Excise Department to be downgraded to in  the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police.	In the Super Time Scale of IPS PB-4 Rs.37400 – 67000 + GP 8900.	to be downgraded w.e.f10.01.2012

2. Under Rule 11 (1) of Indian Police Service (Pay) Rules, 2007, the above (3) posts are declared equivalent to Cadre posts of Additional Director General of Police, Personnel /Inspector General of Police, Intelligence and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Greyhounds respectively.

3. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Ex.GAD.I) Department,

vide their U.O.No.956/66/Expn.GAD.I/2012, dated:07.02.2012.
