R:
The
following Notification will be published in Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
NOTIFICATION
In
exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the
Constitution
of India, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the
following
amendments to the Special Rules for the Andhra Pradesh Medical
Subordinate
Service Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.565, M&H (R1) Department,
dated
27.08.1979 as subsequently amended.
AMENDMENTS
In the
said Rules:-
1. In ANNEXURE - I, in column (2) under Class - III,
(a)
against item No.1 of column (1) for the words “Director of
Medical
Education and Administration” the words “Regional
Director
of Medical and Health Services” shall be substituted.
(b)
against item No.2 of column (2) the expression “- do – “ shall be
inserted.
2. In ANNEXURE - II, in column (2) under Class - III,
(a)
against Category 1, for the items (i), (ii) and (iii), the following
items
shall be substituted, namely,
“(i)
Must possess the Post Graduate Degree i.e. MSW (Master of Social Work) of any
recognized University in the State: Provided that in case of the candidates
possessing the Post Graduate Degree in Social Work are not available the
candidates possessing M.A., Sociology from any University recognized by the University
Grants Commission shall be considered:
(ii)
Must have minimum 5 years field work experience in the related posts only i.e.,
in Andhra Pradesh Medical Subordinate Service employees and Public Health
Subordinate Services:”
(b)
against Category - 2, for the items (i) and (ii) the following items shall be
substituted, namely,
“(i)
Must possess the Bachelor Degree in Social Work or any Degree with Social Work
as one of the subjects; and
(ii)
Must have minimum 2 years field work experience:”
