ORDER:-
In the reference read above, the P.R
& R.D (RWS) Department has stated that, a phone call has been received from
Joint Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, New Delhi
requesting to provide twenty (20) Drinking water purifier to the State of Jammu
& Kashmir for use in flood affected areas.
Accordingly, they have procured twenty (20) Drinking Water purifier
units costing of Rs.1.00 Crore (@ of Rs.5.00 lakhs) from SMAAT, India Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad and the said units
have been sent to the Jammu & Kashmir through the Defence, Airforce
flight. Further, they have stated that,
the Hon’ble C.M. has pleased to provide
another (30) Drinking Water Purifier Units costing Rs.1.50 Crores (@ Rs.5.00
lakhs each unit) from SMAAT, India Pvt., Ltd., Hyderabad Therefore, they have requested for sanction
of fifty (50) Drinking water purifier
units costing Rs.2.50 Crores (@ Rs.5.00 lakhs each unit) for payment to M/s. SMAAT,
india private Ltd., Hyderabad towards supply of units from Chief Minister
Relief Fund.
2. Government after carefully examination
of the matter hereby accord sanction for
supply of fifty (50) Drinking water purifier units at the cost of Rs.2.50
Crores (@ Rs.5.00 lakhs each unit) for supply to the Jammu & Kashmir
Government and Expenditure shall be met from CMRF. The Cheque No.016479,Dated:03-11-2014,
for an amount of Rs.2.50 in favour of DDO, PR&RD (OP)Department is
enclosed.
3. The P.R & R.D (OP) Department shall
take further necessary action in the matter for payment of the amount to the
concerned agency.
