Vignan Educational Foundation, Bangalore to start M.Sc. Nursing course of two years
duration by name Katuri College of Nursing (M.Sc.), Katuri Nagar, Guntur District
with an intake capacity of each four (04) seats from each in Community Health
Nursing and OBG / Gynec Course in the academic year 2014-15 – Permission
accorded – Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
 In the G.O.2nd read above orders were issued according permission to Vignan
Educational Foundation, No.5/3, Hosur Road, Bangalore for establishment of
College of Nursing in the name of Katuri College of Nursing, Katuri Nagar, Guntur in
private sector and starting the degree course in B.Sc. Nursing with an intake
capacity of Forty (40) students from the academic year 2003-2004.
2. In the reference 10th read above, the Chairman, High Power Committee,
Hyderabad has reported that a proposal of the Executive Director, Vignan
Educational Foundation, Hosur Road, Bangalore for establishment of M.Sc.(Nursing)
course in Katuri College of Nursing, Katuri Nagar, Guntur has been forwarded to
District Level Team, Guntur for verification. The Principal, Guntur Medical College,
Member Convener, District Level Team, Guntur has submitted inspection report and
basing on the said report, the Chairman, High Power Committee, Hyderabad has
recommended for issue of No Objection Certificate / Essentiality Certificate for
establishment of M.Sc.(Nursing) course in Katuri College of Nursing, Katuri Nagar,
Guntur, with an intake capacity of (04) seats each in the specialties of Community
Health Nursing and OBG / Gynec course.
3. The Government after careful consideration of the matter, accepted the
recommendation of the Chairman, High Power Committee an accordingly hereby
issue No Objection Certificate / Essentiality Certificate to Vignan Educational Foundation, Hosur Road, Bangalore for establishment of M.Sc. (Nursing) course in
Katuri College of Nursing, Katuri Nagar, Guntur from the Academic year 2014-15
with an intake capacity of four seats (04) each in the specialties of Community
Health Nursing (GHN)and Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) Course and that the
society shall follow the guidelines / orders issued in the GOs read above and such
other terms and conditions as may be laid down by the Government from time to
time and as per the Statutes of the Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences,
Vijayawada and as per the regulations of the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
4. Essentiality Certificate granted in para (3) above is liable for cancellation
whenever the Government forms the opinion based on an inspection report that the
aforementioned Educational Society is not running the college in the best interests
of the students or commits any irregularity or violates any rule / regulation, after
giving 15 days notice to the Educational Society to show cause, against the
proposed cancellation and pass appropriate orders after considering the explanation,
if any, offered by the Society against the show cause notice.
5. The Registrar, NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada shall take
necessary further action in the matter.
