ORDER:
Government has decided to
constitute a Cabinet Sub-Committee/Group of
Ministers
on the issue of caring for the Orphan Children and the children studying in
Welfare
Hostels and Schools with the following Members;-
1.
Deputy Chief Minister and Minister (Education)
….. Chairman
2.
Minister for Finance & Plannning, Small Savings,
State
Lotteries, Consumer Affairs, Legal Metrology,
Civil
Supplies
…… Member
3.
Minister for BC Welfare
.….. Member
4.
Minister for Tribal Welfare
...… Member
5.
Minister for Medical and Health
…… Member
2.
The above Committee shall study and make recommendations
expeditiously:
(a)
for ensuring the welfare and bright future of the Orphan Children
(Boys
and Girls) in the State.
(b)
to improve the existing Mid-Day-Meal Scheme by providing sufficient
quantities
and good quality of rice, vegetables etc., and Egg thrice a
week.
(c)
to solve other pending issues such as cosmetic charges etc., for the
children
staying in various Welfare Hostels in the State.
3.
Sri J. Raymond Peter, IAS, Principal Secretary to Government, Panchayat
Raj
and Rural Development Department, shall act as the convener for the above
Committee.
