O R D E R :
                      In the references 1st and 3rd read above, the Commissioner of Transport, A.P. Hyderabad has reported that the Transport Department collect taxes and fees from various sources like citizens, motor vehicle owners and the motor vehicle dealers. He has proposed for online payment of fees and taxes to Government account in an easy manner through State Bank of India gateway and Cyber Treasury.

2. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby permit the Commissioner of Transport, Andhra Pradesh to collect the taxes and fees through State Bank of India Gateway and Cyber Treasury by following the procedure as indicated below:

i) The Transport Department shall have State Bank of India payment gateway facility which is integrated with the Transport Department server.

ii) The Citizens or vehicle owner or the dealer can pay through the SBI payment gateway from their bank account of their choice.

iii) In turn, the State Bank of India gateway shall remit all the collections received from whichever the bank it may be, to SBI pooling account to State Government of Andhra Pradesh through Reserve Bank of India and thereafter SBI Cyber Treasury Branch which is maintaining pooling account for this purpose shall submit challan wise scroll to the A.P. HEAD QUARTERS TREASURY and to the Transport Department on a daily basis as per the procedure in vogue.

3. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P. Hyderabad is requested to allot a series of challan number to the Transport Department through which the Transport
Department shall generate e-challan for State Bank of India payment gateway as this system works completely on electronic process and not to insist on physical challan submission by the bank.
