Auction of 8 Coal Mines for Non-Regulated Sector in the 4th Tranche
It has been decided to auction eight (8) Schedule- III coal mines earmarked for
Non-regulated Sector i.e. Iron & Steel, Cement and
Captive Power Plants in the fourth tranche. Directions have been issued to the
Nominated Authority for conduct of the auctions. This was announced by Shri
Anil Swarup , Coal Secretary in a press conference here today .

Giving timelines drawn, Shri Swarup said that the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) will be issued on 20th November, 2015 and the commencement of sale of tender document shall start from 20.11.2015. Due date for submission of bids is 31.12.2015. The e-Auctions for these mines will be held from 18.01.2016 to 22.01.2016 and the vesting order by the Nominated Authority to the successful bidder shall be issued by 10.03.2016.
