        The following Notification shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh State Extra – Ordinary Gazette dated: 16-11-2015

                            N O T I F I C A T I O N

The Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby notify the following Crops and the districts during Rabi 2015-16 under Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (WBCIS) of National Crop Insurance Programme (NCIP). The main feature / Operational Modalities of the Scheme along with Term Sheets vide Annexure I to X in respect of Mango Crop, Annexure-I to X in respect of Banana (fruit) Crop and Annexure I to X in respect of Cashewnut Crops are appended to this order.

1	Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, YSR Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor and Prakasam (10 Districts )	Mango
2	Vizianagaram, East Godavari, YSR Kadapa, Kurnool & Guntur (5 Districts )	Banana (fruit)
3	Srikakulam and Vizianagaram (2 Districts )	Cashew nut

2. The claims under NCIP – WBCIS shall be settled on the basis of the weather data furnished by the APSDPS / State Govt. Mandal level Rain Gauge stations / IMD Weather stations for the notified crops & districts and not on the basis of individual declaration of crop damage Annavari Certificate / Gezette notification declaring the area Drought / Flood/ Cyclone affected etc., issued by the Government.

3. The Director of Agriculture, AP, Hyderabad shall take further action in the matter.
