O R D E R :-

Government have allotted budget for welfare of Economically Backward
Communities in the B.E. 2017-18 with an objective to provide economic support
schemes to poor EBC communities (other than SC/ST/BC/ Kapu/
Minority/Christian/Brahmin communities) .

2. Accordingly, the Director, B.C. Welfare, A.P., Vijayawada has submitted
proposal stating that, since, the allotment of budget of Rs.263 Crores for
economic support schemes for EBCs is for the first time, it is proposed to utilize
the budget already allocated under head of Account MJH-2225-SMJH-03-MH-277
Education –SH-310/312 for the schemes proposed below.

3. Government after careful examination of the proposal, hereby accord
permission to the Director, Backward Classes Welfare, A.P., Vijayawada to utilize
the budget allocated under the head of Account MJH-2225-SMJH-03-MH-277-
Education-SH-24-310/312 for the following schemes.

4. 1. Scheme of Skill Development and Training
Amount allotted Rs. 100.00 Crs
For implementation of the scheme the VC & MD, APBCCFC
shall follow the guidelines issued in G.O.Ms.No.16, BCW (C) Dept.,
dated: 17.5.2016.

2. Bank Linked Economic Support Programmes :-
 Amount allotted Rs.83.00 Crores.
For implementation of economic support scheme, the VC & MD shall
follow the guidelines issued in G.O.Ms.No.101, S.W. (SCP.I) Dept,
dated: 31.12.2013 read with G.O.Ms.No.16, BCW(C) Dept. , dated:
17.5.2016.

3. Scheme of providing financial assistance to Meritorious
Economically Backward Class Students for Overseas studies:-
 Amount allotted Rs. 50 Crs
The objective of the scheme is to award grant of Rs.10.00 lakhs to
meritories poor EBC students whose parental Income Ceiling is
Rs.6.00 Lakh per annum and to provide them better opportunities
for higher education.

 Under the scheme it is proposed to utilize an amount of
Rs.50.00 Crores, he shall follow the guidelines issued vide G.O.Ms.
No.29, BCW (B) Dept., dated: 27.8.2016 read with
G.O.Ms.No.16, BCW (C) Dept., dated: 17.5.2016.
4. Scheme of providing financial assistance for Coaching for UPSC
Civil Service Examination and other Competitive examinations :-

 Amount allotted Rs.30.00 Crores
For implementation of the scheme, the guidelines issued in
G.O.Ms.No.16, B.C.W. (C) Dept., dated: 17.5.2016 shall be adopted.

5. The Director, B.C. Welfare, A.P., Vijayawada shall take further necessary
action accordingly.
