Designating the Police Officers in election duties

O R D E R:

Under Section 28 (A) of the representation of People Act 1951 the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby designate the following Police Officers in the State of A.P. for purpose of Law & Order and other duties connected with conduct of the ensuing Bye-elections to 7-Adilabad, 16-Kamareddy, 74-Mahabubnagar, 81-Nagarkurnool, 85-Kollapur, 99-Ghanpur (Station) (SC) and 235-Kovvur Assembly Constituencies in Adilabad, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Warangal and Nellore districts to be held on 18.03.2012. These orders are deemed to have come into effect from 22.02.2012 and shall be valid till the completion of the election process:

  i) Director General of Police

 ii) Addl.. Director General of Police (L&O)

      

(iii) Inspector Generals of Police, North Zone, Warangal, West Zone

(Hyderabad Region) and Guntur region.

iv) Deputy Inspectors General of Police, Nizamabad range, Warangal

range and Guntur range

v) The Superintendents of Police concerned

vi) The Addl. Superintendents of Police concerned

(both cadre and non-cadre)

vii) The Sub-Divisional Police Officers concerned

viii) The Inspectors of Police concerned

ix) The Sub-Inspectors of Police concerned

x) The Head Constables concerned

xi) The Police Constables concerned.

2. All other Police Officers serving for the time being in the Police Department, who are involved in any way in election related arrangements or performing duties in connection with conduct of Bye-elections to 07-Adilabad, 16-Kamareddy, 74-Mahabubnagar, 81-Nagarkurnool, 85-Kollapur, 99-Ghanpur (Station) (SC) and 235-Kovvur Assembly Constituencies in Adilabad, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Warangal and Nellore districts to be held on 18.03.2012 and also designated u/s.28(A) of Representation of People Act, 1951.
