ORDER:-
In the reference 1 st read above, the Government have issued orders constituting the Regional and Range Police Establishment Boards, to deal with the transfers and postings of Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors of Police, with the following
composition, in the erstwhile state of A.P. :
I. Regional Police Establishment Board for effecting transfers of Inspectors of Police:
a) Regional Inspectors General of Police
b) Range Deputy Inspectors General of Police/Commissioner of Police and
c) All Superintendents of Police of that Range
 
II. Range Police Establishment Board for effecting transfers of Sub-Inspectors of Police:
a) Deputy Inspector General of Police of Police Range/Commissioner of Police
b) Superintendent of Police of the District
c) Additional Superintendent of Police of District
d) OSD of the District, if posted
2.  In the reference 2 nd read above, the Director General of Police, Telangana, Hyderabad, has informed that the State of A.P. was bifurcated under A.P. Re-organization Act, 2014 and a new State of Telangana has been carved out which came into being on 2 nd June, 2014. This necessitates constitution of the following new Police Establishment Boards for North/West Zones for the above mentioned functions:
I. Regional Police Establishment Board for effecting transfers of Inspectors of Police:
a) Zonal Inspector General of Police
b) Range Deputy Inspector General of Police
c) Superintendents of Police of the District
d) Superintendent of Police, Intelligence
II. Range Police Establishment Board for effecting transfers of Sub-Inspectors of Police:
a) Range Deputy Inspector General of Police
b) Superintendent of Police of the District
c) Additional Superintendent of Police/OSD of the Dist.
d) Regional Intelligence Officer
3. The Director General of Police, Telangana, Hyderabad, has therefore, requested the Government to issue necessary orders for constituting Police Establishment Boards as proposed above at the Regional and Range Level for posting
of Inspectors of Police and Sub-Inspectors of Police respectively by the newly constituted Establishment Boards.
4. Government after careful consideration of the matter, hereby constitute the following Police Establishment Boards at Regional and Range level for effecting the transfers of Inspectors of Police and Sub-Inspectors of Police:
I. Regional Police Establishment Board for effecting transfers of Inspectors of Police:
a) Zonal Inspector General of Police
b) Range Deputy Inspector General of Police
c) Superintendents of Police of the District
d) Superintendent of Police, Intelligence
II. Range Police Establishment Board for effecting transfers of Sub-Inspectors of Police:
a) Range Deputy Inspector General of Police
b) Superintendent of Police of the District
c) Additional Superintendent of Police/OSD of the Dist.
d) Regional Intelligence Officer
5. The Director General of Police, Telangana, Hyderabad, is requested to take necessary action in the matter.
