ORDER:

In the G.O. 1^st and 2^nd read above, certain Terms and Conditions were issued for setting up of Base Stations and installation of equipment for telecommunication networks and leasing of space in Government offices on a non-exclusive basis to any licensed telecom service provider.

2. Certain representations have been received from licensed Telecom Service Provider seeking support to deploy small cells in Gram Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies to enable continuous and seamless connectivity outdoors as well as indoors as a part of making Digital India and Digital Andhra Pradesh.

3. The Chief Secretary, Government of A.P. conducted a meeting on 12.12.2014 regarding 4G communication expansion. During the meeting, it was decided to fix the rates for erection of small cells in view of the 4G expansion in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

4. The Commissioner, PR, Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration and after conducting a meeting on deploying small cells for 4G system expansion in the State of A.P. with the ENC (PR), ENC (PH) and the Director (Communications), ITE&C Department, submitted the recommendations with charges and requested the Government to issue necessary orders in the matter.

5. The Government after careful examination of the matter and keeping in view the recommendations submitted by the Committee, the following onetime charges are fixed for erection of small cells for 4G Expansion in Andhra Pradesh.

Municipal Corporations / Selection Grade / Special Grade Municipalities	Rs. 15,000/- per unit
First / Second / Third Grade Municipalities and Nagar Panchayats	Rs. 10,000/- per unit
All Gram Panchayats	Rs. 5,000/- per unit
