ORDER:-

The following notification will be published in an extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.

PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION

It is proposed to make the following amendment to the AP (Agricultural Produce and Livestock) Markets Rules, 1969 issued in G.O.Ms.No.1990, Food & Agriculture (Legislation), dated 17.10.1969 and published in issue No.27 of R.S. to Part-II, Extraordinary of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated 21.10.1969 in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 33 of the AP (Agricultural Produce and Livestock) Markets Act,1966 (Act 16 of 1966) is hereby published for general information in the AP Gazette as required under sub-section (4) of section 33 of the said Act.

2. Notice is hereby given that the said draft amendment will be taken into consideration by the Government on or after the expiry of a period of one month from the date of publication of this notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette and that objections and suggestions, if any, which may be received from any person with respect thereto before the expiry of the said period, will be considered by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.

3. The objections and suggestions if any, shall be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation Department, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad through the Commissioner & Director of Agricultural Marketing, AP., Hyderabad.

AMENDMENT

The following provision shall be added at the end of Rule 194 of Andhra Pradesh (Agriculture Produce &Livestock) Markets Rules,1969 –

“The Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Regulation of Age of Superannuation)Act,1984 (Act 23/1984 which came into force from 23.8.1984) as amended from time to time is applicable to the employees of the Agricultural Market Committees in Agricultural Marketing Department."
