ORDER:
                   In the reference 1st to 6th read above, 44 Banks and 2 Corporations
have been notified for maintenance of Government Accounts /Funds. The
Committee constituted by the Government to examine the requests of the
individual banks has favourably considered the appeal of “BHARATIYA MAHILA
BANK” to include their name in the list of Notified Banks. With the inclusion of
the said bank, the number of notified banks has gone up to 45.

2. Taking into consideration of the existing guidelines, the BharityaMahila
Bank has been notified by the Government for placing the Government funds
with the said bank.

3. All the other Guidelines/Conditions for Depositing the Government
Money Funds with Notified Banks/Institutions remains unchanged including
the one as under has to be followed strictly by the BharatiyaMahila Bank Ltd.,

I. No account shall be established by any Bank in favour of any
Government department/ Office. / Corporations/
Undertaking/ Autonomous Institutions without Finance
Department concurrence.

II. The Bank that receive deposits from Government
Department/ Undertaking/Agencies/ Other Government
Institutions & Corporations; shall submit a monthly return
as per the Proforma appended, by 10th of every month their
branch wise information regarding deposits kept by the
Government Departments/Agencies to the Finance
Department in electronic form as well as in hard copy.
Persistent delay/default in complying with this requirement
may result in de-notification of the banks concurred.

III. These orders shall come into force with immediate effect.
