ORDER:
In the
references 1st to 4th read above, orders have been issued enhancing the scale of
assistance to the victims of natural disasters in the State.
2. In the
reference 5th & 6th read above, orders have been issued enhancing the scale of assistance
to the affected families of the “Very Severe Cyclonic Storm HUDHUD” duly considering
the magnitude of loss it has caused.
3. The District Collectors of the affected districts have reported that
this calamity has affected
a very large area because of heavy gale and continuous down pour for more than two
days causing wide spread damages/losses many community properties / public
infrastructure belonging to various departments like Agriculture, Horticulture
and Forest etc.
besides widespread damages to a number of houses that got marooned/
inundated/damaged.
This calamity has also resulted in human loss.
4. In the reference 8th read above, the Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests,
Hyderabad has have
reported that this calamity has affected a very large area causing wide spread damages /
loses many community properties belonging to various departments like Forest crops.
5. In the reference 7th read above, taking in to consideration of the
below categories of affected
areas, after careful examination of the prevailing scale of gratuitous relief provided to
the affected families, decided to issue modified orders to provide appropriate
gratuitous relief to the affected families.
6. Government
after careful examination hereby order to include Forest crops in the list of items of crop damages
for sanction of input subsidy and scale is as follows:-
7. The above scale of input subsidy is sanctioned to the affected area
farmers,
where Teak,
Eucalyptus & Casuarina trees damage is 50% and above during the Hudhud
cyclone occurred in the month of October, 2014 as a special case.
8. The Prl.
Chief Conservator of Forests & the District Collectors to take all
necessary steps to
confirm the genuineness of the loss and genuineness of the beneficiaries and release the
payment to the Bank Account of the Beneficiaries in a transparent manner.
9. It is
ordered further that the insurance claim if any, existing on the above
plantation
shall be offset from the compensation sanctioned herein .
10. The above orders are issued with the concurrence of Finance
Department
vide their U.O.No.8314/178/EBS.VIII-Rev& IC/A1/14,dated
31-10-2014.
