ORDER:
In the references 1st to 4th read above, orders have been issued
enhancing the scale of
assistance to the victims of natural disasters in the
State.
2. In the reference 5th & 6th read
above, orders have been issued
enhancing the scale of
assistance to the affected families of the “Very Severe
Cyclonic Storm HUDHUD”
duly considering the magnitude of loss it has
caused.
3. The District Collectors
of the affected districts have reported that this
calamity has affected a
very large area because of heavy gale and continuous
down pour for more than
two days causing wide spread damages/losses
many community properties
/ public infrastructure belonging to various
departments like Animal
Husbandry and Housing, etc. besides widespread
damages to a number of
houses that got marooned/ inundated/damaged.
This calamity has also
resulted in human loss.
4. In the reference 8th read above, the Prl. Secretary of Animal
Husbandry, Fisheries and
Housing Departments have reported that this
calamity has affected a
very large area causing wide spread damages /
losses to many community
properties belonging to various departments like
Animal Husbandry and
Housing .
5. In the reference 7th read above, taking in to consideration of the
categories of affected
areas, after careful examination of the prevailing scale
of gratuitous relief
provided to the affected families, decided to issue
modified orders to provide
appropriate gratuitous relief to the affected
families.

Government after careful examination is hereby ordered to
include
Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Housing Departments, etc.
damages
in the list of items of commercial poultry farmers and
others
for sanction of input subsidy and scale of assistance is as
follows:-
Parameters:
1)
Compensation per Bird
a.
Layers - Rs.150/-
b.
Broilers - Rs.75/-
Subject
to Maximum ceiling (all inclusive)
a.
Layers - Rs.15.00 lakhs
b.
Broilers - Rs.7.50 lakhs
2)
Damages to Poultry sheds in integration system only Rs.
10,000/-
per shed (subject to Maximum of three sheds
Rs.30,000/-)
3)
The Integrator( Broiler) is treated as One individual farmer and
he
will be eligible for maximum ceiling amount of Rs.7.50
lakhs
4)
Government is also hereby decided to extend financial
assistance
to the damaged cattle shed in open fields on par
with
that of cattle sheds attached with house i.e. Rs.10,000/-
per
Cattle shed in open fields.
5)
In partial modification of the item (d) of Table No.II vide
G.O.Ms.No.9,
dated 12-10-2014, Government is also hereby
decided
to extend financial assistance to the damaged houses
where
roof is blown away. Now the full text of item (d) is as
follows:

In partial modification of the item (6) of Table of para 6 vide
G.O.Ms.
No.13, dated 22-10-2014, Government is also hereby
decided
to extend financial assistance to Fiber boat kalasis.

7. The Directorate of Animal
Husbandry, Fisheries Department and
Housing Department &
the District Collectors to take all necessary steps to
confirm the genuineness of
the loss and genuineness of the beneficiaries
and release the payment to
the Bank Account of the Beneficiaries in a
transparent manner.
8. The above orders are
issued with the concurrence of Finance
Department vide their
U.O.No.8318/179/EBS.VIII-Rev & IC/A1/2014,
Date:31.10.2014.
